Path of Exile - Leap Slam Aura Tank Duelist Build
The Duelist is seen as a character class that is less for killing mobs and more for one-on-one combat. That may be true, but that doesn't mean that you can't kill multiple enemies one by one, and this particular build is good for that. You may not be as bad ass as the other melee classes, but you can definitely hold your own with the Leap Slam Aura Tank Duelist.
For duelists, Leap Slam is an ability that can be used with two handed weapons and quite good for killing monsters with one shot, even when the target that has Reflect Aura. This is due to the armor and resistance that make up this build, making for a good balance of offense and defense and a good degree of survivability. This makes for a character build that is good for farming low to mid HP melee monsters.
Strengths and Weaknesses
This build is pretty good at tanking and killing mobs, as well as getting over map mods. It uses 3 40% and 1 30% mana reservation auras. Part of its tanking prowess is due to really high armor and resistances, as well as flexible options in armor or evasion gear. You can use any kind of two-handed weapon with this build and can stun almost any monster you go up against. Because of that, this character build is good for solo play and is easy to take to even for beginners.
But with that, comes the weaknesses like not being as good as a party member, especially since you have knockback that can cramp other players' style. You're also prone to desync with this build, and you more or less have to know what you're doing in order to not die, despite being tanky, due to how the build works.
